JHZ-CS Solutions are cross-platform supportive providing a high level of platform independence. The following describes how this is accomplished.

Logic components are coded in open-source PERL. PERL is highly cross-platform supportive. This provides portability supportive of future migration requirements when it occurs and experience shows it often does.

JHZ-CS Web Solution applications, data and templates are coded in standard ASCII formats. This means they are cross-platform supportive helping to assure a website is not strictly bound to a particular webserver operating system due to platform specific dependencies.

If and when the need to migrate to a different operating system occurs, minimal modifications are required typically limited to a few simple configuration file updates. The result is an easily expandable solution that will continue to provide years of productivity and performance.

Typically, web development occurs on desktop platforms running a different OS (Operating System) from that of the webserver platform's OS. Since JHZ-CS Solutions are platform independent not only static portions of a website can be tested and reviewed on the desktop platform, but dynamic page generation and logic components can be tested as well.
